04.08.26 Four new Cabinet ministers sworn into LegCo

Four new Cabinet ministers were sworn in as members of the Legislative Council (LegCo) in a ceremony held on the first day of the Second Meeting of the 22nd Legislative Council Session yesterday. The ceremony, conducted in accordance with the 1959 Brunei Constitution for new ex-officio members, included Minister at The Prime Minister’s Office (Security and Law) Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu and Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office (Energy, Upstream and Downstream) Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah.

Also sworn in were Minister of Religious Affairs Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan and Minister of Transport and InfoCommunications Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos.
