The Department of Councils of State on Thursday held a Maulidur Rasul celebration for the year 1447 Hijrah/2025 at the Auditorium Hall, Legislative Council (LegCo) Building.

Present as the guest of honour was Speaker of the Legislative Council Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib. Also in attendance was Clerk to the Privy Council, Secretary to the Cabinet Ministers’ Council and Clerk to the Legislative Council Datin Paduka Dr Dayang Hajah Huraini binti Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Jaya Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hurairah, along with officers and staff of the department.
