Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah in his speech on the motion of Brunei Vision 2035 at the Second Meeting of the 21st Legislative Council (LegCo) Session yesterday highlighted some of the issues raised were not based on accurate and up-to-date data and facts.

He highlighted that some suggestions lacked proper research and, if unchecked, could hinder government efforts, disrupt social harmony, and undermine the Chamber’s credibility.

He also said, “These matters have been discussed in this Honourable Chamber for many years, and perhaps the time has come for us all to act together and move forward in supporting these Government initiatives under the three key Blueprints that have been put forward as one united front.”
