23 April 2026, London, United Kingdom – The Legislative Council Secretariat delegation, led by Her Excellency Datin Dr. Clerk to the Legislative Council, held a Joint Technical Meeting with the Commons Office, UK Parliament, from 21 to 23 April 2026 in London, United Kingdom.

Throughout the visit, the Secretariat had the opportunity to conduct several meetings, including with His Excellency Tom Goldsmith, Clerk of the House of Commons, as well as with key officers and offices, namely the Clerk of Bills, Interparliamentary Relations Office, Journal Office, and the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee. The delegation also had the opportunity to observe Prime Minister’s Question Time and to visit the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

The Secretariat also held separate meetings with the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies (ICPS) and the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).
