Thursday, 2 July 2026, Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA – The Secretariat of the Legislative Council (MMN) undertook a working visit to the Parliament of Malaysia to participate in a series of sharing sessions and discussions on the practices and management of parliamentary institutions. Throughout the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of various aspects, including parliamentary sitting management, parliamentary research, Special Select Committees, international relations and corporate communications, as well as to observe proceedings of the House of Representatives and the Special Chamber.

The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange views, share experiences and strengthen cooperative ties between the two parliamentary institutions.

The Legislative Council Secretariat extends its sincere appreciation to the Parliament of Malaysia for the warm hospitality and the valuable sharing of knowledge and experience. The Legislative Council Secretariat looks forward to further strengthening the close relationship and cooperation between the two parliamentary institutions.
