Main Function:
1. To ensure that the building is always safe and clean for the officers and staffs, other government employees and also the public.
Job and Responsibilities:
1. Accompanying the procession of the Speaker of the Legislative Council into the meeting hall carrying a Mace (also during the adjournment);
2. To advise and review the security regulations and control security pass within the Department;
3. To control security in the hall, especially during conferences;
4. To assist the law enforcement agencies such as the Royal Brunei Police Force and the Government Security Agency in regulating security features during the meeting;
5. To accompany and brief the visitors to follow the rules while in the department or in the meeting hall;
6. Maintain and monitor the cleanliness of the Department's courtyard and providing fresh and beautiful flowers within the department.
