Job and Responsibility:

1. To hold annual State Legislative Council meetings, at least once a year, unless otherwise stated by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, but the interval between the final session of the previous meeting and the date set for the next meeting shall not exceed 12 months.
