Dr. Dayang Hajah Huraini binti POKSJDP Haji Huraini was appointed as the Clerk to the Privy Council, Secretary to the Cabinet Ministers' Council and Clerk to the Legislative Council on 27 Jamadilakhir 1445 / 9 January 2024.
Dr. Dayang Hajah Huraini began her service with the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in 1999 and has held various positions in the Public Sector. These include Senior Education Officer at Special Education Unit, Ministry of Education; Acting Head of Unit SPN 21, Office of Permanent Secretary (Core Education), Ministry of Education; Senior Special Duties Officer, Prime Minister's Office and Director of Pejabat Wawasan Brunei, Prime Minister's Office. Before her appointment as the Clerk o the Privy Council, Secretary to the Cabinet Ministers' Council and Clerk to the Legislative Council, Dr. Dayang Hajah Huraini binti POKSJDP Haji Huraini was the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Vision) at the Prime Minister's Office. Her work experience includes a variety of different areas including Education and Inclusive Education; Policy, Monitoring and Evaluation; Strategy Management; Foresight & Futures thinking and Sustainable Development.
Dr. Dayang Hajah Huraini holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology with Health Sciences from South Bank University, London (1995); MSc Psychology of Education from the Institute of Education, University of London (1996) and Doctorate of Philosophy (DPhil) Education from the University of Oxford (2010).
