​The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) held a dialogue session with Legislative Council (LegCo) members yesterday where Acting Permanent Secretary at the MTIC Haji Hairul Mohd Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim discussed about the transport sector with focus on safety and security, services and sustainable growth.

A briefing on the functions and roles of the Transportation Policy Division and the Transportation Security Division as well as latest developments and plans was also held.

LegCo members exchanged views and shared experiences to help with the planning to achieve progress in the Sultanate’s transport sector.

Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Transport) at the MTIC Ridzuan bin Haji Ahmad was also present. – Azlan Othman
